PBRC Hosts Partners for Justice Virtual Conference

The Maryland Pro Bono Resource Center, MSBA’s pro bono arm, is taking its annual Partners for Justice Conference virtual this year on May 10 -14, 2021.

The Partners for Justice Conference takes place annually, and presents a unique opportunity for legal services program staff, the public and private bar, members of the judiciary, human services agencies, elected officials, and others to discuss critical issues facing the poor and underrepresented across the mid-Atlantic region and how we can improve access to justice.

The 100% virtual event will feature high profile speakers, including Keynote Speaker, Chris Wilson, author of The Master Plan:  My Journey from Life in Prison to a Life of Purpose, as well as informative substantive sessions, and Maryland legal leaders like:

  • Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh
  • Maryland Bar Foundation President Thomas Lynch
  • Maryland Chief Judge Mary Ellen Barbera
  • Maryland Public Defender Paul DeWolfe
  • Maryland Legal Services Corporation Executive Director Susan Erlichman
